Uniwording Method

Communicating with Uniwording signs does not require any special effort, as this language is designed for linear and simple sentence composition. It can be learned much faster than any phonetic language.

A method, unique in the world, for sensory and virtual learning has been studied.

Each sign is represented on a card (real or on screen): to learn it is necessary to observe the drawing and then perform the gesture.

The drawing is accompanied by arrows that indicate the movement of the hands. There is also a caption, which the user reads in their own language. The QR code, available in paper didactics, leads to the graphic animation of the sign. On the App, the animation will be obtained with a “touch” on the virtual card

How to use Uniwording signs in conversation

It communicates using the Uniwording signs as an auxiliary language, with a very reduced grammar: verbs are always infinitely and many signs represent “families of words”.

For example: the sign “Snow” is also used for “snowing” and “snowing”; the sign “Sympathy”, depending on the context, can indicate “nice”, “nice”, “nice”, “sympathize” …

The professions are expressed with two consecutive signs: to say “Baker” one will make the sign “Bread” + sign “Person”; for “Carpenter” the sign “Wood” + Person.

Facial expressions emphasize the context of the conversation, which is always a mix of signs and words. The added value given by Uniwording to conversations is in fact the spontaneity of the use of gestures that let themselves be accompanied by words: signs are not used in silence, because the hearing can integrate the oral modality with the gestural one. Unlike what English does, using the Uniwording language it is natural to ask those in front of us, pointing to the sign “Bread”: “and in your language how do you say?”

In this way, languages are not mortified, but valued, because signs can be the means to learn another language and appreciate its beauty.

Choosing how to learn

Self learning

Those who are interested in this language have the opportunity to learn it on their own in the preferred way: they can opt for the box with Flash Cards, or they can download the App in the future. In both cases, the choice of which and how many signs to learn is subjective.
